Description

The Department of Molecular Medicine (MOMA) at Aarhus University invites applications for a two-year Postdoc position in bioinformatics/data science.

Joining project PI Søren Besenbacher at the Bioinformatics groups at MOMA, the successful applicant will contribute towards the development of new analytical frameworks and to the analysis of publicly available and in-house generated data to study germline mutation processes.

Candidates should have received their PhD in bioinformatics, population/statistical genetics, genomics, or statistics. The following skills are also considered to be advantageous:

• Experience in handling and analyzing large genomic datasets. 
• Good programming skills in R/Python
• Experience with high-performance computing environments. 
• Interest in genome evolution
