Description

London School of Economics and Political Science is delighted to announce the Silvretta PhD Scholarship Programme. This scholarship has been made available through a generous donation that will support one new PhD student every four years. Eligible students will include those who have an interest in pursuing a PhD on environmental economics, related disciplines or current environmental issues of concern

Eligibility:

To be eligible for consideration for this award, you must meet the following criteria: Hold an offer for an MPhil/PhD programme within the Department of Geography and Environment. Have home fee status. Preference will be given to applicants whose research focuses on environmental economics, related disciplines, or current environmental issues of concern. Selection for this scholarship is based on outstanding academic merit and research potential. One new award will be available for 2025/26.

Scholarship Amount:

The Silvretta PhD Scholarship Programme award is tenable for four years and will cover full tuition fees at the Home fee rate and provide an annual stipend in line with UKRI rates, which will be at least £21,237.
